St Leonard’s Youth and Family Services Society (dba STLEO) is a not for profit organization based in Burnaby BC serving children, youth, and families in need. STLEO has been providing the community with crucial social services since 1967.

STLEO provides services ranging from counselling and education services for children, youth, and families in the community to specialized homes and support services for children and youth who are in the care of the Ministry of Children and Family Development. Where does STLEO operate?
Our main office is in the Edmonds area of Burnaby, BC. We provide services in Burnaby, New Westminster, Surrey, and Delta.
Who does STLEO serve on a yearly basis?
Every year, we help children, youth, and families who are stuck and needing to take the next steps with their lives. Some come willingly, and others are mandated, but every single person that walks through our door gets care and attention second to none.

No – STLEO is a secular organization.
How is STLEO funded?
STLEO is funded primarily through Ministry of Children and Family Development government contracts. Any additional funding we receive through donations and grants from corporations, foundations, and caring people give STLEO’s flexibility in meeting additional community needs and providing support to those who walk through our doors. These include: Vancouver Foundation, Home Depot Orange Door Campaign, Metro Town Merchants Association, and the generous donations of individual donors.
